Our Capabilities
CNC Milling
Our CNC milling services specialize in parts under 6 inches, with standard tolerances under ±0.002”, plus the ability to go even tighter. By integrating robotics-assisted milling, we’re producing parts with optimal repeatability and cost efficiency.
Our Haas UMC-400SS, paired with a 15kg cobot, ensures we can meet tight specifications for small, high-performance components.
CNC Turning `
Whitmer Industries also offers CNC turning with a dual-spindle, Y-axis live tooling lathe. This setup is perfect for complex geometries and multi-process parts, delivering standard tolerances under 0.005” and capable of hitting under 0.001”.
Our Haas DS-30Y with a bar feeder allows for efficient production of small, high-precision components with speed and reliability.
5-Axis Machining
Our 5-axis machining capabilities reduce setup times and increase accuracy, supporting high-performance parts in demanding industries, including aerospace and medical applications. This capability allows us to tackle complex geometries in a single setup for optimal efficiency and consistency.
Inspection and Finishing
We maintain a commitment to quality through every stage of production. Our in-house CMM inspection equipment, a Haas HMM430, provides precise measurement and reporting.
We also offer heat treatment through our induction forge and maintain strong relationships with trusted vendors for secondary processes such as anodizing and plating.
